LMC RE-AFFIRMS ZERO TOLERANCE FOR COVID-19 VIOLATIONS IN NPFL LEAGUE VENUES.
Following the infraction in the NPFL Match Day 27 involving Kano Pillars and Akwa United at Ahmadu Bello Stadium Kaduna, the adopted home of Kano Pillars as a result of the violations of COVID-19 safety protocols, which the league organising body descended hard on Pillars with huge fines of 5 million for allowing fans and 2.5 million for encroachment and a suspended 3 points deduction subject to good conduct.
The LMC was as a result pressured by the PTF on COVID-19 to be more strict with the compliance or force them to issue an order stopping the league.
To this end, Lobi Stars received messages of absolute caution from the LMC restricting entrance in to the the stadium to people who are on critical match duties only.
Therefore, fans and other stakeholders of football who will have no match duties in Lobi Stars home league games are advised to stay away from the match arena and follow the games on our social media handles to save Lobi Stars the agony of heavy monetary fines and other associated punishment and also save the league from another abortion.
The press should also note that, only invited Journalists will be allowed access to cover Lobi Stars home games.
